 Hanshi Allan Tattersall started practising the Martial Arts in 1964 and holds the following qualifications:

- Soke myoshin Ryu Jujitsu designated a New ryu ha by Dai Nippon Butoku Kai 2002
- Jujitsu grades held by DNBK. Hachidan Hanshi.
- Iaido grades Kyoshi Rokudan. DNBK.
- Aikido Sandan / Aikijitsu Sandan/ Kobudo Yondan / Karate Shodan.
-International Director : United Kingdom Ju-Jitsu Association International ~ 16 Countries in Membership.
- Hosted 25. Open Budo international Seminars, taught in 22. Countries.
-  UK Officer for Dai Nippon Butoku Kai. Held Titles Jujitsu Kyoshi / - - Hanshi. Iaido Kyoshi, was given Red Obi by Honbu panel of Hanshi in 2002. Kyoto
